Competition Time: 3:00 PM – 3:15 PM

Time Limit: 15 Minutes

COMPETITION RULES

1. Eligibility: Open to all barbers, regardless of experience level. Licensed and unlicensed barbers may compete.

2. Taper Required: Competitors must execute a clean taper haircut. Low, mid, and high tapers are permitted.

3. 15-Minute Challenge: Competitors have exactly 15 minutes to complete their taper, lineup, detailing, and finishing touches.

4. No Full Fades: Full fades extending around the entire head are prohibited. The haircut must remain a taper.

5. Tools Permitted: Clippers, trimmers, shavers, razors, and shears are allowed.

6. No Pre-Cutting: Models must arrive with sufficient hair growth to demonstrate a visible transformation. Tapers and lineups cannot be pre-cut.

7. Minimum Hair Growth: Models must have at least ¼ inch of hair growth in the taper areas.

8. Paint & Enhancements Allowed: Hair fibers, hairline enhancement sprays, temporary paint, and color enhancements are permitted.

9. Complete Taper Required: Competitors must finish both sides of the taper, the neckline, and lineup within the time limit. Incomplete haircuts will lose points.

10. Styling Allowed: Competitors may style the top of the haircut, but the taper remains the primary focus.

11. Live Models: Every competitor must provide their own live model.

12. Time Enforcement: All tools must be put down immediately when the 15-minute timer expires. No additional cutting or enhancements are permitted.

13. Judges’ Decision: All judging decisions
